Diagram of a plant cell compared to an animal cell
Plant and Animal cells have several differences and similarities. For example, animal cells do not have a cell wall or chloroplasts but plant cells do. Animal cells are round and irregular in shape while plant cells have fixed, rectangular shapes.

What are the roles of various organelles?;
NUCLEUS It controls the activities and reactions in the cells. It is also responsible for cell division.
RIBOSOMES Amino acids assembled to make protein (protein synthesis).
MITOCHONDRIA The mitochondria job is to perform convert glucose into energy through cellular respiration (aerobic respiration) using water and oxygen.
CELL MEMBRANE Cell membrane layer that controls what enters and what leaves the cell. Or a protective covering enclosing the entire cell (controls substances going in and out of the cell).
What organelle makes food for the plant cell?
Chloroplast is the organelle that makes food in a plant cell. Diagram below of chloroplast.
